Structural Engineering and Foundation

NBC Construction has experience in design and repair of structural and foundation with variety of the methods such as concrete piers, steel push piers and etc. In addition, once the foundation damage has been repaired, proper drainage system and water management are essential.

In many of the residential and commercial property, the retaining walls have been installed to retain soil that would otherwise migrate into a natural contour. The failure of a retaining wall around landscaping, foundation or property line is many times evidenced as a result of poor design, inadequate drainage or poor construction typically evidenced by cracks, belling or bowing of the structure and lateral movements.

About The Owner

Mike began working in the construction, foundation and engineering construction industries following his father foot step since 1977.

NBC Construction was founded by Mike Schalchi. The name, NBC Construction, was proudly designed around the names of his three boys. Nicholas, Brandon and Christopher. Since the founding of NBC Construction in 1990 they have become one of California’s most trusted Construction firms. Specializing in New Residential and Commercial Construction, Tenant Improvements (TI) and Remodels.

NBC Construction is licensed and bonded and provides services in Northern California, Bay Area and Southern California.

Continuing education allows the company to offer the latest in service and design. When working with Mike Schalchi, and his dedicated team of experts, you are working with true Craftsman skilled in all aspects of construction; some of which include Remodels, Room Additions, Foundation and Foundation Retrofit, Concrete, Landscape and most other Home Project tasks. Having a professional team of Engineers and Architects allows NBC Construction to assist through all phases of construction from Pre-Planning and Design through Construction and including long term Maintenance.
